Oh dear, the crochet bug bites hard! Well, there's not a lot to do when flat on your back for one hour out of every two (hey! That's progress!!)
I am trying to echo the colours in my curtains. I think I've got it right!
They look more circular from a distance than they do close up, but I still like them.

Your colour scheme is lovely. It's very Attic-24 ish (Do you know her blog...she's English and she crochets...lovely colour schemes too.)
Are you on Ravelry.com? Millions of free patterns there...And you can list all your projects and keep the details in case you want to repeat them in the future. Or just remember them!
This is going to match your curtains perfectly! It's beautiful! : )
I was going to ask you where do you get your patterns from or is it just in your head. I just started this year so I will check the link that Helen posted it. Thanks Helen.
I love the colors, beautiful done. I hope you're feeling better.
Beatriz - I spent a lot of time on the internet looking first for "Crochet motifs" then "Crochet flowers" (the curtains are simple flower patterns) and then when I found those patterns a bit too busy, I started to look for hexagons, circles etc. One site led to another and I bookmarked the ones I likes.
I'm a medium skilled crocheter, which means I make up one or two squares exactly as the directions say, then I change stuff about it until I get what I like. For example on this cushion I found a lovely pattern called "Squaring the circle" but it only had one row of white round each circle, which I thought was too little, so I added one final round of HDC round it (DC was too high - would have made the cushion cover too big!) Also the circle was crocheted through both of the arms of the V that you get on the side of crochet, as normal, and I felt that this cut the definition of the circle, so I crocheted the white row only into the back of the V, so allowing the front bit to form a ridge all round the circle and frame it.
Etc etc! There is LOADS of stuff on the internet! I also joined Ravelry at last and there's been a huge amount of inspiration there, too. You can search patterns by all kinds of parameters to get as close as possible to what you want to do.
Helen, I do indeed know Attic 24, I stumbled across her in my searches and she is now firmly in my blog feed! I have used her tutorials for making flat circles and finishing off granny squares and a couple of other things too.
